It sounds like a lot of blood, sweat, and determination just to get a bit of greenery on your mantlepiece. Well, we have a secret for you. The “drying” part is actually the easiest job you’ll do all year. In fact, it requires exactly zero effort.
There is also a common misconception that if you want a hop garland to last for a year or more, you must buy it already dried. While our dried garlands are spectacular, fresh hop garlands are the unsung heroes of the hop world and by far our most popular choice.

When they arrive at your door, they are vibrant, supple, and heavy with the scent of the hop garden. Because they are fresh, they are incredibly easy to manipulate. Now, here is the magic part. You don’t need to do a thing to dry them. The only thing you need to ensure is that you hang them on the day you receive them – DO NOT leave them in the box!
Simply hang them “in situ”: which is a fancy way of saying “exactly where you want them to live”: and let nature take its course. Because our hops are grown with generations of expertise, they are sturdy enough to dry naturally in the air of your home. They will slowly transition from a deep, juicy green to a sophisticated, sage green over the course of a few weeks. No special techniques, no drying racks, and absolutely no stress. They will then last just as long as our dried hop garlands.
