Her Majesty the Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh visited Harveys Brewery in Lewes during their visit to Sussex in 2013.

Whilst on their tour of the brewery, the Queen signed the Brewing Book containing the day’s entries, which included our very own Fuggle variety being used to brew their Elizabethan Ale.

Originally brewed to celebrate the Queen’s coronation in 1953, Harveys have continued to brew Elizabethan Ale and it is still enjoyed right up to the present day.

So, however we have all spent this coronation, we would like to send our warmest congratulations and raise a glass to Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort.
