We have been busy on the farm harvesting. Before you “hop” to conclusions, no we haven’t started our hop harvest…yet, but we have in fact been harvesting our Yellow Rattle.
Yellow Rattle is semi-parasitic on grass, meaning it can be used in meadows to reduce the growth of grass and encourage the growth of wildflower.
With the help of T Denne and Sons (https://tdenneandsons.co.uk/) we have gathered the seeds from the Yellow Rattle we have already here on the farm and will then plant that seed within the meadows in which we would like to welcome more wildflower 💐
